MCC Adaptive Curling
Curling for All. Empowering Athletes of All Abilities to Hit the Ice

Adaptive curling makes the sport accessible to athletes with limited mobility. Using a stationary wheelchair and a delivery stick, participants can fully engage in this strategic, precision-based game—no sweeping required.

At the Milwaukee Curling Club, we are dedicated to making curling inclusive for all. Our adaptive curling program provides opportunities for athletes of all abilities to build confidence, experience teamwork, and create lasting friendships. Whether you are new to curling or looking to continue your passion, our club offers a supportive and welcoming community.

Wheelchair curling is uniquely accessible—no specialized chairs or costly adaptive equipment are needed. Athletes use their own wheelchairs, along with a telescopic delivery stick. Brakes are required to keep the wheelchair stationary while delivering a stone, and both manual and power wheelchairs are welcome. For those who need equipment, the Milwaukee Curling Club provides delivery sticks and other resources to ensure everyone can participate.
