| History: | Joe Carson was President of the Milwaukee Curling Club from 1935-38. Tireless in his devotion to club interests, always on call for club affairs, Joe was a prime factor in sustaining local interest in curling and building the sport to the point where it became one of the foremost winter activities in the community. He was Secretary of the Midwest Curling Association for four years (1947-51), President for one year and served on the Board of Directors for four years. Joe went on to be the fourth President of the United States Curling Association from 1961-62. |
